Your response seems to have missed the point of the blog.  Whether &quot;free&quot; trade is always evil and &quot;fair&quot; trade is always good was not the point.  Whether the consumer will make the choice to choose the better social choice when it means paying more for their cup of cappuccino was the point,  especially when the recession may require them to choose between paying rent and stopping at the local coffee shop today.</description>
